Repository Policy

The Journal of Biopharmaceutics and Clinical Pharmacy (JBCP) is an Open Access journal committed to the free and unrestricted dissemination of scholarly research. In line with this commitment, authors are permitted to deposit, share, and archive their work in any repository or platform at any stage of the publication process, under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).

1. General Reuse and Sharing Guidelines

Authors and users are free to share and reuse published content without embargo. However, proper attribution must always be provided. The original source (JBCP) must be clearly acknowledged, and the DOI or official URL of the Version of Record should be included in all repositories or secondary distributions.

2. Repository Policy by Manuscript Stage

2.1 Submitted Version (Preprint)

The submitted manuscript version (prior to peer review) may be shared on preprint servers or institutional repositories without restriction. At this stage, attribution to JBCP is not mandatory but is encouraged.

2.2 Accepted Version (Post-Print)

After peer review and acceptance, authors may deposit the accepted version in institutional or subject-specific repositories. The journal must be cited as the source of peer-reviewed acceptance, along with appropriate bibliographic details.

2.3 Published Version (Version of Record)

The final published PDF may be freely archived and shared on personal websites, institutional repositories, and academic platforms. Proper citation, including the DOI and journal details, must be included in all cases.

3. Copyright and Licensing

Authors retain full copyright of their work while granting JBCP the right of first publication. All published articles are distributed under the CC BY 4.0 license, allowing unrestricted use, distribution, and adaptation, provided that proper attribution is given to the authors and the journal.

Authors may also enter into separate non-exclusive agreements for further distribution of their work (e.g., book chapters, compilations, or secondary publications), provided that the original publication in JBCP is properly acknowledged.
